Role Overview:
This position involves performing general radiographic procedures on adult and pediatric patients to assist in diagnosis and treatment.
Responsibilities include preparing patients and equipment, explaining procedures with professionalism, and independently conducting imaging exams, including portable and on-call situations.
Qualifications:
- Associate degree or Trade School equivalency
- Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography – R.T.(R)
- Licenses such as IEMA (Illinois) and Radiology Technologist registration
Preferred experience includes at least 2 years in vascular, neurovascular, or special procedures, as well as proficiency in MRI, CT, X-ray, and other imaging modalities. CPR certification is also desirable.
