Role Overview: The Part-Time or Advanced Modality Technologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures, primarily in general radiology, using advanced imaging modalities such as CT, MRI, fluoroscopy, and interventional techniques. Responsibilities include preparing patients and equipment, executing studies independently or in on-call situations, and supporting surgical and emergency procedures. The role involves working with various equipment brands like Carestream, GE, Medtronic, and Samsung.
Qualifications & Skills: Candidates need an associate degree or higher in a related field and certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography (R.T.(R)). Experience is welcomed but not required, with prior experience in intraoperative, surgical, fluoroscopy, or mobile radiography considered advantageous. Certifications such as IEMA, RTR, CT, MR, and others are preferred. Strong knowledge of radiologic procedures, patient care, and equipment operation is essential.
