Role Overview: As a Respiratory Therapist, you will evaluate, treat, and care for pediatric patients with cardiopulmonary disorders.
- Responsibilities: Implement and assess respiratory therapy plans, provide patient and family education, recognize patient needs, promote interdisciplinary care, and ensure continuity of respiratory services. Demonstrate proficiency with blood analysis systems, maintain professional behavior, serve as a role model, and adapt to changing duties.
- Qualifications: Graduate from an approved Respiratory Care program, current NJ Respiratory License, Registered Respiratory Therapist certification, and AHA BLS Provider certification. Preferred candidates have a Bachelors of Science degree.
- Skills & Abilities: Ability to work in any site as needed, perform physical tasks including lifting over 15 pounds, handle blood and body fluid exposures, and operate in a team-oriented environment. Demonstrate professionalism, self-evaluation, and cultural sensitivity.
