Role: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) providing professional nursing care in long-term care settings.
Responsibilities:
Administer medications and treatments as per care plans. Assess residents’ health status, recognize problems, and respond effectively. Document resident interactions, outcomes, and care activities. Support residents, families, and care team through counseling and education. Perform testing and evaluate data reflective of resident needs. Maintain confidentiality and communicate clearly with team and residents. Contribute to resident safety, comfort, and well-being. Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills:
Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program. Hold an unencumbered LPN license with multi-state privileges. Possess IV therapy skills if required. Complete required continuing education and competency certifications. Ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary team. Strong communication, technical, and assessment skills.
