Role Overview: Provides direct patient care including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing standards. Promotes patient and family-centered care by educating on illness management, post-treatment needs, and medication administration. Key Responsibilities:
- Develops, implements, and documents individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, patients, and families, ensuring effective communication across care settings.
- Uses critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences, values, cultural, and spiritual considerations.
- Contributes to a safe environment by adhering to safety protocols and participating in quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills:
- RN license with a Nursing Diploma/Associate’s degree; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- No prior experience required; 2+ years of RN experience and oncology/chemo certification preferred.
- Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills in a collaborative setting.
