Part-Time Clinical Nurse – Outpatient Gyn/Chemotherapy Center

Role Overview: Provides direct patient care including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing standards. Promotes patient and family-centered care by educating on illness management, post-treatment needs, and medication administration. Participates in activities that ensure patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance while contributing to professional development.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develops, implements, and documents individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, patients, and families, ensuring effective communication across care settings.
  • Uses critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences, values, cultural, and spiritual considerations.
  • Contributes to a safe environment by adhering to safety protocols and participating in quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • RN license with a Nursing Diploma/Associate’s degree; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • No prior experience required; 2+ years of RN experience and oncology/chemo certification preferred.
  • Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills in a collaborative setting.
