Role Overview:
Provides direct patient care activities, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing standards. Promotes patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, medication, and post-treatment needs. Participates in ensuring patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, while engaging in professional development. Develops and documents individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, considering patient preferences, values, and cultural needs. Uses critical nursing skills to evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, maintaining a safe work environment as this is a safety-sensitive position.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Associate’s Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Current RN license
- No prior experience necessary; 2+ years preferred for advanced roles
