Role Overview:
Provides direct patient care in a fast-paced perioperative environment, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing care standards. Collaborates with the interprofessional team to develop, implement, and document individualized plans of care, ensuring effective communication across care continuum. Utilizes critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences and cultural considerations. Promotes patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, post-treatment needs, and medication administration. Participates in activities that enhance patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, and engages in professional development.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum Education: Nursing Diploma/Associate’s Degree in Nursing
- Licenses & Certifications: RN license required
- Preferred Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
- Experience: No experience required; 2+ years preferred
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills
