Position: Echocardiographer/Cardiac Sonographer/Echotech
Role and Responsibilities: Schedule and perform exams across modalities such as TEE, TTE, stress, intraoperative, research, and pediatric cases. Ensure complete documentation in reporting systems, maintain a clean lab environment, and properly document in EMR while taking vital signs. Demonstrate critical thinking by flagging significant findings, participate in monthly educational meetings, quality initiatives, and stay updated with ASE guidelines.
Qualifications and Skills: Associate’s degree in Echocardiography with completion of 320 internship hours or 1 year of training. RDCS (ARDMS) or RCS (CCI) certification required, with CPR certification upon hire. Preferably 2+ years of clinical experience. Ability to lift, move, and assist with heavy lifting of over 100 pounds is needed.
