Role Overview:
This position is for an Assistant Nurse Manager in the Operating Room, responsible for coordinating patient care, personnel management, equipment maintenance, and statistical tracking. The role involves managing direct reports, overseeing staffing, training, performance evaluations, and ensuring departmental operational goals are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage staff hiring, training, assignments, performance evaluations, and professional development.
- Participate in staffing, budgeting, and responding to operational changes to meet financial goals.
- Provide and oversee patient care, creating collaborative care plans based on assessments and medical treatment.
- Review staff hours, manage payroll, coordinate staff communication, and handle staffing needs, including overtime and disciplinary actions.
- Ensure staff productivity aligns with departmental objectives and conduct performance reviews.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Required: Nursing Diploma/Associate’s Degree, RN license, 2-5 years of experience, supervisor or charge experience preferred.
- Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, 5-10 years of experience, less than 2 years of supervisor experience.
Additional Information:
