Role: ER Technician II responsible for providing basic patient care and supporting direct patient services in the emergency department.
Key Duties:
- Assist with therapeutic treatments ordered by physicians
- Operate laboratory equipment
- Support patient discharge and education
- Help emergency staff and support patient families
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- Current Texas EMT-P or National EMT-P certification
- Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardio Life Support, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support certifications (PALS within 90 days of hire)
- Preferably 1 year of relevant work experience
Skills and Attributes: Knowledge of emergency medical procedures, ability to operate laboratory equipment, patient education skills, and ability to support a fast-paced emergency environment.
