Role Overview:
Provides direct patient care activities including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within established nursing standards. Promotes patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration. Engages in activities to ensure patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, while participating in professional development. Develops, implements, and documents individualized care plans collaboratively with the interprofessional team, ensuring effective communication across the continuum of care. Uses critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences, values, and cultural factors. This safety-sensitive position requires constant alertness and safe work practices.
Qualifications:
- Education: Nursing Diploma/Associate’s degree; preferred Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
- Experience: No experience required; 2+ years preferred.
- Licenses & Certifications: Valid RN license.
