PACU – Clinical Nurse (PRN)

Role Overview: Provides direct patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing care standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote patient and family-centered care in a healing environment, educating on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication use.
  • Participate in activities that ensure patient safety, quality improvement, and regulatory compliance; engage in professional development.
  • Develop, implement, and document individualized care plans with collaborative goals, ensuring clear communication across the care continuum.
  • Assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences, values, spiritual, cultural, and specific needs.
  • Utilize critical nursing skills to evaluate patient conditions and adapt care accordingly.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Nursing Diploma/Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • RN license required; no prior experience necessary, but 2 years of experience is preferred.
  • Safety-sensitive role requiring alertness and safe work practices.
