Role Overview: Provides direct patient care activities including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within established nursing care standards. Promotes patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration. Participates in activities to ensure patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, while engaging in ongoing professional development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develops, implements, and documents individualized care plans with clear goals, collaborating with the healthcare team, patients, and families.
- Uses critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences, cultural, spiritual, and population-specific factors.
- Ensures effective communication of care plans across the continuum of care.
- Maintains safety-sensitive awareness, working alertly and safely at all times.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Nursing Diploma or Associate’s degree in Nursing; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Current RN license required.
- At least 2 years of nursing experience preferred; ED or ICU experience is a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours and minimal shift commitments.
