Role: Certified Orthopedic Surgical Technician
Responsibilities:
- Prepare operating rooms for orthopedic procedures, including selecting and sterilizing instruments.
- Maintain aseptic techniques and appropriately position patients for surgery.
- Handle implants, orthopedic devices, and manage surgical specimens.
- Anticipate surgeon needs during procedures and ensure accurate counts of instruments and supplies.
- Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and anesthesia providers to facilitate safe and efficient surgeries.
- Follow hospital protocols and contribute to continuous quality improvement in patient care.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Certified Orthopedic Surgical Technician credentials.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced surgical environment.
- Strong knowledge of orthopedic surgical procedures, instruments, and sterile techniques.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills to collaborate with medical staff.
