Seeking an orthopedic surgeon as a 1099 independent contractor for a part-time role. The position involves treating patients on-site for approximately a 4-hour shift weekly or biweekly, complementing your current practice.
Responsibilities include managing medically complex cases, supporting return-to-work and functional restoration, and collaborating with medical and therapy providers. You will offer both non-surgical and surgical orthopedic care, communicate with employers, and participate in case management.
Qualifications include experience with work-related injuries, licensure in the practice state, MD or DO graduation from an accredited program, unrestricted DEA license, and board certification or eligibility in Orthopedic Surgery. Must have medical malpractice insurance.
