We are seeking an orthopedic surgeon as a 1099 independent contractor to provide on-site care for approximately a 4-hour shift weekly or biweekly, complementing your current practice.
Responsibilities include managing complex patients, facilitating return to work, and collaborating with medical and therapy providers for both surgical and non-surgical treatments related to orthopedic and neuromusculoskeletal injuries. Active communication with employers and case management are also involved.
Qualifications include experience with work-related injuries, licensure, MD or DO degree, unrestricted DEA license, and board certification or eligibility in Orthopedic Surgery. Must have medical malpractice insurance.
