We are seeking an orthopedic surgeon as a 1099 independent contractor to provide on-site care during 4-hour weekly or biweekly shifts, complementing your current practice.
Responsibilities include managing complex patients, aiding recovery, and collaborating with medical teams on both surgical and non-surgical treatments for work-related orthopedic and neuromusculoskeletal injuries. You will also engage in case management and communicate with employers.
Qualifications:
– Experience with work-related injuries preferred
– Valid state licensure, MD or DO degree, unrestricted DEA license
– Board certification or eligibility in Orthopedic Surgery
– Malpractice insurance coverage required
