Initial and ongoing evaluations, progress documentation, and collaboration with the rehab team are essential.
Supervision of staff and training students or workers in therapy techniques may also be required.
Education requirements include a Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) after 2015.
Experience expectations involve a certain number of years and types of relevant experience.
Required certifications include a licensed Physical Therapist, Basic Life Support (BLS), and possibly certifications in Pelvic Health.
Preferred qualifications may include additional certifications.
