Role Overview:
This position involves providing direct patient care in a 32-bed orthopedic/neuro spine unit, focusing on elective surgeries such as joint replacements and back surgeries. Responsibilities include assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care within nursing standards, promoting patient and family-centered care, and educating on post-treatment needs. The role requires developing and communicating individualized care plans, assessing physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, and ensuring safety and quality compliance. It emphasizes professional development and teamwork.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum of a Nursing Diploma/Associate’s degree and RN license.
- No prior experience required; preferred candidates hold a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing with at least 2 years of experience.
- Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work safely and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
