This opportunity seeks qualified (OPH) Ophthalmologists or (OPT) Optometrists with their own clinic near Reno, NV, to support Veterans through Medical Disability Examinations (MDEs) for the VA LOB.

Perform comprehensive eye exams, diagnose and treat eye conditions, and develop individualized treatment plans.

Participate in clinical research and trials to advance ophthalmology.

Maintain accurate records using EMR systems like Epic, ensuring HIPAA compliance.

Collaborate with healthcare teams across various settings and stay current with ophthalmology advancements.

Requirements: Active licensure, relevant certifications, 1-2 years of experience preferred, and residency or schooling as specified. Providers must reside within 50 miles of Reno, NV, and maintain OSHA/ADA-compliant facilities.
