OR Registered Nurse (Perioperative Care)
Provide safe, evidence-based perioperative nursing care in the operating room. Conduct comprehensive pre- and post-operative patient assessments, serve as circulator and/or scrub nurse during procedures, and administer medications while maintaining patient safety.
Monitor hemodynamic status and respond to changes in clinical condition. Ensure strict compliance with infection control and safety standards throughout the perioperative environment.
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and allied staff to support coordinated surgical care. Educate patients and families on perioperative instructions and recovery considerations.
Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and uphold professional nursing standards.
Key qualifications & skills
- Current RN licensure
- Proficient perioperative assessment and post-operative monitoring
- Strong medication administration and patient safety practices
- Knowledge of OR workflow as circulator and/or scrub role
- Commitment to infection prevention, hemodynamic monitoring, and compliance
- Effective teamwork and patient/family education skills
