OR Registered Nurse to provide safe, evidence-based perioperative nursing care. Responsibilities include assessing patients pre- and post-operatively, serving as circulator and/or scrub in the operating room, administering medications, and monitoring hemodynamic status. Ensure strict compliance with infection control and safety standards throughout perioperative workflows.
Key duties:
- Assess and manage patient needs before and after surgery
- Circulate and/or scrub during operative procedures
- Administer medications and monitor vital/hemodynamic parameters
- Maintain aseptic technique, infection prevention, and safety practices
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and allied staff
- Educate patients and families
- Support quality improvement and continuous learning
Qualifications/skills: Registered nurse with perioperative experience or readiness to deliver high-quality surgical nursing, strong clinical assessment and monitoring skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-based environment while adhering to protocols and safety standards.
