Travel RN – Operating Room
Provide high-quality perioperative nursing care by circulating and scrubbing for a variety of surgical procedures.
Key Duties
- Deliver patient-centered perioperative support before, during, and after procedures
- Coordinate care with surgeons and anesthesia to support safe surgical outcomes
- Ensure strict compliance with sterile technique and surgical safety protocols
- Perform pre- and intraoperative patient assessments
- Document clinical care accurately in the EMR
- Educate patients and families on perioperative care
Qualifications & Skills
- Registered Nurse with strong perioperative/OR experience
- Proficiency in sterile processing, OR workflow, and patient safety practices
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to assess patients and respond to changing intraoperative needs
- Accurate documentation skills and comfort working in an EMR
