Role: Occupational Therapist Assistant – Per Diem
Responsibilities include:
- Providing occupational therapy services in patients’ homes under supervision, adhering to state laws and treatment plans
- Instructing and aiding patients, families, and healthcare team members in evidence-based therapy within scope
- Observing, documenting, and reporting patient responses and condition changes to supervisors and physicians
- Demonstrating cultural competence and ability to work with diverse populations
Qualifications and Skills:
- Current Occupational Therapy Assistant licensure in the state of practice
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, or access to public transit
- Certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (state-specific)
- Preferred: CPR certification or ability to obtain within 90 days
Key Duties: Delivering patient-centered care, following treatment plans, documenting progress, and educating patients and caregivers to promote recovery and independence.
