Role & Responsibilities: Under supervision of an Occupational Therapist, plans and implements treatment programs for patients across all ages, within an interdisciplinary framework. Supervises students, volunteers, and observers. Performs physical activities including lifting up to 50 pounds, assisting with patient care, and making frequent location changes. May handle emergency situations, wear protective equipment, and be exposed to infectious or toxic substances. Requires physical strength, mobility, and stamina for tasks like sitting, walking, standing, bending, and twisting.
Qualifications & Skills: Ability to perform essential duties with or without accommodations. Knowledge of Occupational Therapy practices is preferred. Strong physical and interpersonal skills are essential. Ability to work in a dynamic environment with irregular hours and safety protocols.
Key Duties: Develops and executes patient treatment plans, supervises related staff and trainees, and ensures safety and proper care delivery. Maintains compliance with health and safety standards while supporting patient rehabilitation and interdisciplinary collaboration.
