Occupational Therapy Assistant

Role: Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant
Responsibilities:

  • Provide compassionate, resident-centered care in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation setting.
  • Assist in delivering hands-on treatments under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist.
  • Support activities of daily living (ADL) retraining and implement individualized treatment programs.
  • Document patient progress and outcomes accurately.
  • Educate residents and their families about treatment plans and progress.
  • Collaborate closely with nursing staff and the interdisciplinary team to ensure quality care.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant credential.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, outcome-focused environment.
  • Commitment to providing meaningful, patient-centered care.
