Occupational Therapy Assistant

Role Overview: The Occupational Therapist Assistant provides occupational therapy services to patients in home care settings, supporting their physical recovery and functional abilities.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Follow state laws and the supervising OT’s treatment plan
  • Instruct and assist patients in evidence-based therapy within scope
  • Observe, document, and report patient responses and condition changes
  • Educate patients, families, caregivers, and healthcare team members on therapy
  • Adapt to various home environments, respecting diverse patient backgrounds

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Valid Occupational Therapy Assistant licensure and certification
  • Current driver’s license, vehicle insurance, or reliable transportation
  • Good communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks efficiently
