Occupational Therapy Team Leader
Role Overview:
Lead and support the occupational therapy team by assisting with daily operations, including scheduling, training, and communication with staff and hospital departments. Provide direct patient care, building meaningful relationships to support their recovery and celebrating their victories. Utilize specialized skills to deliver compassionate, personalized care aligned with rehabilitation goals in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:
Assist the Director of Therapy Operations in team management and operational tasks.
Deliver direct patient care tailored to individual physical, mental, and emotional needs.
Ensure seamless procedural and treatment implementation.
Support professional growth through training and education initiatives.
Build rewarding relationships with patients and team members.
Qualifications & Skills:
Current state licensure or certification.
CPR certification (or obtain within 30 days).
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in an accredited therapy program.
Minimum of three years of occupational therapy or leadership experience, with at least two years of clinical practice.
Professional certifications or Therapy Clinical Ladder eligibility preferred.
