Occupational Therapist – PRN – Live Well Homecare

Role Overview:

This position involves providing skilled occupational therapy services as part of a multidisciplinary team, focusing on patient evaluation and treatment. The role emphasizes individualized patient care, education, collaboration with healthcare providers and families, and documentation in accordance with departmental policies. It includes establishing treatment plans, making referrals, and delegating tasks to assistants and students based on competency levels.

- Includes shift work during weekdays, with weekend/holiday rotations (2 weekends every 6 weeks)

Qualifications & Skills:

Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy and an Occupational Therapist license. No prior experience or supervision experience is necessary; however, a Master’s Degree is preferred.

Key Duties:

Develop and implement treatment plans considering discharge needs and equipment requirements.

Educate and collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams, making appropriate referrals.

Delegate tasks to assistants and students based on their skills and competency.

Complete accurate documentation and conduct assessments, reassessments, or consultations as needed.
