Occupational Therapist – PRN

Role Overview

This PRN Occupational Therapist position involves providing skilled evaluation and treatment services in an acute care setting. The role requires developing personalized rehabilitation plans, educating patients and healthcare teams, and collaborating with other providers to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish treatment plans considering discharge needs and appropriate equipment.
  • Educate and coordinate with patients, families, and healthcare providers, making referrals as needed.
  • Delegate tasks to assistants, techs, and students, ensuring competency and safety.
  • Complete documentation per departmental policies.
  • Conduct assessments, reassessments, and consultations for occupational therapy services.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy; Master’s preferred.
  • Current Occupational Therapist license.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team in a fast-paced environment.
