Role Overview
Seeking an Occupational Therapist to join a multidisciplinary team, providing one-on-one patient care in an acute care setting with a flexible schedule. The role involves establishing and implementing treatment plans, collaborating with patients, families, and healthcare providers, and delegating tasks to assistants and students. Documentation and assessments are integral parts of the responsibilities. Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy (OT)
- Valid Occupational Therapist license
- No prior experience required; supervision experience not necessary
- Preferred: Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy
Key Duties
- Developing and providing treatment plans based on patient needs and discharge goals
- Educating and consulting with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Delegating interventions to assistants and students appropriately
- Completing documentation and performing assessments and reassessments
