Occupational Therapist | PRN

Role Overview: The Occupational Therapist plans and provides occupational therapy for patients with temporary or permanent disabilities, aligning treatments with professional standards and organizational values.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducts initial patient assessments and develops treatment plans.
  • Implements therapy interventions based on assessments and written plans.
  • Monitors patient progress through observation and documentation.
  • Provides education tailored to patient-specific rehabilitation needs.
  • Identifies opportunities for professional growth and skill enhancement.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • Licensure as an Occupational Therapist in Tennessee.
  • Strong communication skills for interacting with patients, colleagues, and external professionals.
  • Ability to work independently, organize tasks, and exercise judgment.
  • Physical ability to perform duties, including standing, lifting, and patient contact.

Additional Information: No prior work experience preferred. May provide guidance to therapy assistants. Must be capable of handling physical demands and emergency situations while maintaining patient safety and care standards.
