Role Overview:
Seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist with hands-on treatment experience to provide outpatient outpatient care in a multidisciplinary environment. The role involves evaluating and treating patients with physical impairments affecting their daily activities or work, collaborating with patients, families, and healthcare providers, and delegating tasks to assistants and students. The therapist will develop treatment plans, educate stakeholders, and participate in process improvement and research initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree
- 2-5 years of relevant experience
- Board certification and licensure in area of expertise
- Preferred: Master’s Degree
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and implement personalized treatment plans considering discharge needs and equipment
- Educate and collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Delegate interventions based on staff skill levels
- Conduct assessments, consultations, and treatments following clinical guidelines
- Contribute to staff development, process improvements, and innovative practices
