We are seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to evaluate and treat patients of all ages in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Provide patient assessments, develop and adjust personalized care plans, and ensure treatment goals are met.
- Educate patients, families, caregivers, and healthcare staff using effective teaching methods.
- Perform safe patient transfers, apply proper body mechanics, and monitor support personnel.
- Document evaluations, treatment plans, and patient responses in accordance with department policies.
- Collaborate with the care team on discharge planning and patient admissions to swing bed facilities.
- Maintain licensure and certifications, including BLS, and complete continuing education relevant to acute stroke care.
Qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy, Illinois licensure, and BLS certification. Skills in both inpatient and outpatient care are essential.
