Role Overview: A part-time Occupational Therapist (OT) with outpatient neuro experience providing patient-centered rehabilitation services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, and implement individualized treatment programs to improve daily activities, mobility, cognition, strength, coordination, and range of motion.
- Develop and revise treatment goals collaboratively with patients and families, providing education and discharge planning.
- Document evaluations, treatment sessions, and patient education according to departmental standards.
- Act as a resource for staff, families, and physicians regarding rehabilitation services and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, ethical practices, and infection control protocols.
- Foster effective communication, teamwork, and a positive patient experience using principles like AIDET.
- Participate in professional development, mandatory training, and orientation activities.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Licensed as an Occupational Therapist with current BLS certification.
- Effective communication, customer service orientation, team collaboration, and basic computer skills.
