Seeking a Part-Time Occupational Therapist (OT) with outpatient neuro experience to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in an outpatient setting.
Key responsibilities:
Assess, plan, and implement rehabilitative programs to improve daily activities, mobility, cognition, strength, and coordination. Develop treatment plans in collaboration with physicians, patients, and families, setting realistic goals and discharge plans. Document evaluations, treatment sessions, education, and discharge instructions in accordance with departmental guidelines. Provide patient and family education, and serve as a resource for rehabilitation services and equipment. Adhere to ethical standards, maintain confidentiality, and ensure compliance with regulatory and safety protocols. Maintain effective communication, participate in team meetings, and support a positive, respectful environment. Engage in professional development, complete required certifications, and participate in training and orientation activities. Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy. Licensure as an Occupational Therapist, and BLS certification. Effective communication, customer service focus, teamwork, and basic computer skills.
