Role Overview: A Part-Time Occupational Therapist (OT) with outpatient neuro experience is sought to provide patient-centered care in a rehabilitation setting. The role involves assessing, planning, and implementing therapy programs to improve daily activities, mobility, cognitive function, strength, and coordination for patients with neurological conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and revise individualized treatment plans with patient and family input.
- Deliver therapy services, selecting appropriate activities to meet patient goals.
- Educate patients and families, providing discharge instructions and community resource referrals.
- Collaborate with physicians to establish and evaluate treatment and discharge plans.
- Maintain thorough documentation of evaluations, treatment sessions, and education.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and promote ethical practices.
- Participate in team meetings, staff training, and professional development activities.
- Adhere to infection prevention and safety protocols.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Licensure as an Occupational Therapist and BLS certification.
- Effective communication, customer service orientation, teamwork, and basic computer skills.
- Experience in outpatient neuro rehabilitation preferred.
