Occupational Therapist (Neuro-Rehab)
On-site role with a split practice between Neuro Inpatient Rehab and Outpatient Neuro, providing occupational therapy to adult patients with stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, and other neurological conditions across the continuum of care.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans with measurable functional goals
- Deliver skilled OT services to improve independence, safety, and community reintegration
- Track progress, update goals, and support functional outcomes
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate care
- Document evaluations and treatments in the EMR to meet regulatory requirements
- Educate patients and families on therapy strategies and home recommendations
- Contribute to program quality and continuous improvement
Qualifications & Skills
- Licensed Occupational Therapist with experience in neuro-rehabilitation preferred
- Strong clinical assessment, treatment planning, and goal-setting skills
- Excellent communication, patient/family education, and teamwork abilities
- Proficiency with EMR documentation and compliance standards
