Role: Occupational Therapist responsible for evaluating, planning, and delivering rehabilitative services to improve patients’ daily living, mobility, cognitive functions, strength, coordination, and range of motion.
- Responsibilities: Conduct patient assessments, establish and evaluate treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and families, implement therapy activities, document sessions, and provide patient and family education. Develop discharge plans, make referrals, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Patient Focus: Restore or enhance functional abilities, promote independence, and support positive patient outcomes through personalized care.
- Documentation & Compliance: Maintain accurate records of evaluations, treatment plans, sessions, and discharge instructions, adhering to departmental protocols.
- Team & Communication: Collaborate effectively with healthcare teams, communicate clearly, participate in staff meetings, and contribute to process improvements.
- Customer Service & Professional Growth: Provide compassionate care, apply service recovery principles, embrace diversity, and pursue ongoing professional development and training.
Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy, licensure as an Occupational Therapist, BLS certification, valid Georgia driver’s license, effective communication, customer service orientation, team player, and basic computer skills. Must be able to operate a personal vehicle for travel to facilities and patients.
