Role: Occupational Therapist responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing rehabilitative programs to improve patients’ daily activities, mobility, cognition, strength, coordination, and range of motion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with physicians to establish and evaluate treatment plans, goals, and discharge strategies.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, selecting appropriate therapies and adjusting goals based on patient and family input.
- Provide patient and family education, discharge instructions, and referrals to community resources.
- Document evaluations, treatment sessions, and discharge details in accordance with departmental standards.
- Ensure ethical practices, maintain confidentiality, and adhere to infection prevention protocols.
- Deliver exceptional customer service using AIDET principles, fostering teamwork, and creating a positive environment.
- Participate in ongoing professional development, mandatory trainings, and orientation for new staff.
