Role: The Occupational Therapist (OT) provides skilled outpatient therapy services across diverse patient populations, including orthopedic, sports medicine, neurologic, vestibular/balance, and oncology rehabilitation.
Responsibilities:
- Develops and implements individualized treatment plans considering discharge needs and appropriate equipment.
- Educates and collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare providers, making referrals as needed.
- Delegates tasks to assistants, techs, and students, ensuring interventions meet patient needs.
- Completes documentation per departmental policies.
- Performs assessments, reassessments, and consultations for occupational therapy services.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy; Master’s preferred.
- Licensed or registered as an Occupational Therapist.
- No prior experience required; supervision experience not necessary.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and patient care skills.
