Role Overview:
We are seeking a(n) Occupational Therapist to provide skilled outpatient services in a diverse clinical setting, including orthopedic, sports medicine, neurologic, vestibular/balance, and oncology rehabilitation. The role involves evaluating patients, developing and implementing treatment plans, and collaborating with patients, families, and healthcare providers. Delegating tasks to assistants and documenting clinical activities are essential responsibilities. The position is ideal for experienced OTs, especially those specializing in neurological conditions.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Educational requirements include a Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy; a Master’s Degree is preferred.
- Licensure as an Occupational Therapist is mandatory.
- No prior experience required for entry-level candidates.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and clinical assessment skills are essential.
Key Duties:
- Establish and adjust treatment plans considering discharge needs and functional goals.
- Educate and consult with patients, families, and healthcare team members, making appropriate referrals.
- Delegate interventions to assistants based on their skill level.
- Ensure accurate documentation of assessments, treatments, and progress.
