Role: Provides patient care through implementing medically prescribed programs to maximize patient potential. Ensures treatment is within the scope of practice and compliant with relevant regulations and standards. Supports department growth by assisting with special projects and coordinating patient care activities.
Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program. Holds or is eligible for a current Occupational Therapy license in the state of practice, with temporary licensure options available. Must have current BLS certification through the American Heart Association and the ability to respond to emergencies. Preferred qualifications include National Board Certification in Occupational Therapy.
Responsibilities: Organizes and conducts therapy programs, promotes departmental development, and collaborates with the healthcare team to deliver quality patient care.
