Role Overview: The Occupational Therapist plans and implements treatment programs for patients across all ages, following established practices.
They collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and may work in various settings, including acute/inpatient, outpatient orthopedics, and neurologic rehabilitation.
They are responsible for providing coverage across different locations as needed.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Doctorate (OTD) or Master’s (MOT) in Occupational Therapy; relevant education accepted for candidates prior to 2007
Experience & Certifications:
- Preferred: One year of clinical experience
- Required: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 90 days of start
- Licensed Occupational Therapist from the appropriate licensing board
