This full-time Occupational Therapist works at the main campus within the Pediatric department, providing services Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 6 PM. They demonstrate proficiency in assessing and treating pediatric and adolescent patients, and adult care if applicable, using evidence-based practices.
They conduct thorough evaluations, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and communicate effectively with patients and caregivers to involve them in goal setting and interventions.
The therapist monitors patient progress, adjusts treatment plans as needed, and determines appropriate discharge timing.
Collaboration with other professionals within and outside the organization ensures coordinated care.
They actively participate in team meetings, complete mandatory assignments, and continuously seek to expand their skills.
