Role & Responsibilities:
– Develop and implement occupational therapy treatment plans for patients from neonatal to geriatric stages, following accepted practices.
– Collaborate with interdisciplinary treatment teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
– Supervise positions such as Occupational Therapy Assistants, aides, and students/observers.
– Ensure all duties are performed considering physical and visual/hearing requirements and safety protocols.
Qualifications & Skills:
– Ability to perform job responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodations.
– Physical strength to lift, push, or pull loads up to 50 pounds, and mobility for frequent location changes.
– Sufficient stamina and physical ability to assist with patient care and perform activities of average difficulty.
– Ability to handle emergency situations and wear protective equipment.
– Visual and hearing acuity, with corrective aids if needed.
Key Duties & Conditions:
– Perform physical activities including sitting, standing, walking, bending, kneeling, climbing, and twisting.
– Work may involve exposure to infectious diseases, chemicals, and irregular hours.
– Must meet physical requirements and be able to wear protective gear.
