Occupational Therapist

Role Overview: Implements and plans occupational therapy treatment programs across all age groups, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to promote patient recovery and well-being.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess patients’ performance, develop individualized treatment plans, and modify interventions based on ongoing evaluations.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals, handling cultural diversity with professionalism.
  • Participate in discharge planning, documentation, and promote evidence-based practices.
  • Support department policies, safety, quality improvement, and staff training, including mentoring and student supervision.
  • Build positive team relationships, problem-solve, and adapt to organizational changes.
  • Complete professional and departmental documentation, and identify adaptive equipment needs.
  • Engage in professional development, seek and share feedback, and contribute to departmental growth.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED and a Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • Licensed Occupational Therapist certification required.
  • No prior experience necessary.
