Occupation Therapist – Home Health

Role Overview:

Provides skilled occupational therapy services to patients by conducting evaluations and developing treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establishes and implements treatment plans considering discharge needs and functional status.
  • Educates and collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare providers; makes referrals as needed.
  • Delegates tasks to assistants, techs, and students, ensuring appropriate skill levels.
  • Completes documentation per departmental policies.
  • Performs assessments, re-assessments, and consultations for Occupational Therapy services.

Qualifications & Skills:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy (required), Master’s preferred.
  • Valid Driver’s License and Occupational Therapist Licensure.
  • Ability to support alternate hours, including weekends, for evaluations and patient care.

Additional Details:
Support may include community work, with mileage reimbursement at IRS rates. Position is as needed, non-benefit eligible, ideal for secondary roles with flexible hours.
