Responsibilities include supervising mid-level providers, participating in medical education, attending meetings and committees, and contributing to process improvements. Accurate documentation, evidence-based practice, and patient education are essential.
Minimum qualifications include a current Iowa medical license, board certification within five years or approved fellowship waiver. Preferred qualifications include prior practice experience.
