OB/GYN Nurse Practitioner

The Nurse Practitioner (NP) provides assessment and care for selected patients in a designated service, including physical exams, patient consultations, and collaboration with healthcare team members.

  • Practices per established protocols and California Board requirements.
  • Performs age-appropriate assessments, reviews records, and orders diagnostic tests.
  • Communicates effectively with patients, families, and providers, ensuring continuity of care.
  • Delegates and evaluates team activities, maintains safety, and responds to emergencies following protocols.
  • Participates in quality improvement, staff development, and research activities.
  • Demonstrates professionalism, confidentiality, and cultural sensitivity.

  • Requirements include 3-5 years of experience, a Master’s degree in Nursing, valid RN and NP licenses in California, and relevant certifications.
